Simple things
The room was recently remodel, nice work. They need black out curtains in the room, due to the excessive lighting in the parking lot and surrounding businesses. Continental breakfast is very basic, which I expected for this establishment. Management needs to keep basic items like butter for your toast or waffles, plus the beverage dispenser for orange juice ran out of orange juice and dispensed water. One of the of the flavors was also out. I attempted to inform the manager, since I saw him earlier during breakfast. He wouldn't answer the door, I knocked on the door several times.

No complaints about the room, but overall stay experience wasn't great. We stayed for a right as we were visiting Monterey. We asked at the check-in if he can recommend any restaurants, and he said he doesn't know of any. The breakfast setup (including food options) was horrible. Everything packed in a 10'x10' room. We had to eat outside.

Room was nice and clean. However, terrible breakfast…broken coffee machine for my 2 day stay, miniature breakfast room with room for no more than 6 people because this is a motel advertised as a hotel and therefore breakfast room is in reception area which is small. Fridge did not work in other room we had. Breakfast eating would be at best a two. Lousy reception staff. This is not a Best Western quality at all!

Room was ok, a little pricey in my opinion. Located right infront of a homeless encampment. There was tape on the blinds, the shower knobs were so loose and difficult to get any type of correct temperature because of it. The tv did not work at all (kept losing the signal the whole stay) so that was a inconvenience. Then around 12am we got cold and called front desk to see if we could get an extra blanket and they said no mam’ we are closed lol. So I don’t know about that part. Only good part of our stay was the jetted tub, it was a great size and jets actually worked. Would come back if I had a discounted price or promo but not full price.

Gave us Consideration after midnight
I want to rate this hotel and the whole staff for accommodating us even if we check in after their regular hours. We checked in almost past 1am although their policy was the check in hours is between 3pm and 12mn. I asked for a consideration and favor to one of the staff when I called they asked what time we could arrived and they still accepted us after past midnight. Thank you to all the management of this Hotel.
