Love the area. Great process for a good room. Staff was Great! The office closes at 8pm and we were coming late. The office reached out to make sure we were gonna be able to get in. Very polite.

This inn says there is air conditioning, but there is not. You get an overhead fan (which took us nearly 30 minutes to find how to turn it on) and you have to open the windows. The bathroom was completely falling apart (the wallpaper is coming off, they haven't fixed holes in the wall properly, the base moulding does not Align with the tile floors and we had ants in our bathroom, the caulking in the tub is in bad shape. ) i thought a review said it was updated, but the room we were in was not. I wouldn't stay here again.

This day was a good day. The room really needed to be updated. Wallpaper in the bathroom with peeling curtains had holes in them screens had holes in them, but otherwise it does need an update but otherwise it was a good stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating I would definitely stay there for a weekend

The room had an unfresh smell, though it was clean, and the furniture can be updated - the sofa in particular. It was very uncomfortable. I always wonder why there is no place to hang towels to dry in the bathroom...

Disappointed

As I drove up to check in the sign in front says “ luxury suites” which is far from the truth. This property needs a complete upfit, it’s like a slum lord owns the property. The front door window as you walk into the check in counter is broken with tape holding it together and the landscaping is in need of TLC and random chairs around. My room was even more disappointing had several rips on shower curtain, the drapes were torn, the carpet was torn and unraveling, tile was broken, window screens falling off and window latch to lock was missing. The bed was obviously in need of new mattress, the wall paper had patch work throughout and I don’t even want to guess when the doors were painted. I was past the time allowed for refund and with special event in town it would be hard to find another room. I would not stay that this establishment again nor would I recommend to anyone.

Upon arrival I asked the clerk for room fo disabled and was told none were available. No one occupied the disabled room. The room we ended up with smelled moldy. The bedroom window was broken and could not be locked. It was easily opened from the outside ground level. I called the front desk and was told he would put in a work order for the next day. That didn’t help us as we were only there for the night. I slept with one eye open throughout the night as the bed was right next to the window. The shower/hot tub was not clean so a very brief shower with sandals on was all we could get.

The location is good close to town and beach. Close to routes around Monterey peninsula. Room was adequate, somewhat clean. It was quiet. Parking is ok . Had a suite , so plenty of room. Room had some flaws as far as maintenance is concerned. Some minor and some ridiculous. Little details! Staff interaction was not that great. That would be the main reason why I would not choose this property again.

I books this room because of proximity to my daughter that lives in PG. The price was reasonable and the location was new to me (wanted to explore Asilomar facility and beaches).

It was amazing! We got a queen suite and it had everything we needed. Every morning we woke up there were deer grazing next door. Such a peaceful and beautiful location!

The hotel is tucked in about a 3 minute drive from Asilomar beach. It’s beautiful. I booked a one king bed room at a great price. The room was very clean and spacious. It has a fireplace that lights very low, but it has one. It has a tub with Jets and it’s spacious (my 5’7 daughter fit perfect lengthwise and width wise there was room for one more). The furniture is outdated but it all works. The bed was a bit flimsy but after a day of walking at the aquarium and at the beach, it did it’s magic. The aquarium is a 15min drive from the hotel. Overall, it’s a great place just needs some fixings to be update and not with tape. I would definitely stay again.

The room that I stayed in needs a lot of maintenance work. I did tell the front desk about the broken showerhead. There were patched up holes in the bathroom walls. No soap holder for the hand soap The mini refrigerator was rusted on the outside and had ice buildup in the freezer. I can feel the springs in the mattress. TV and lamps were all unplugged. I did call the front desk to help with the cable connections. The best thing about this property, was the location. I was only there for a night and the price was reasonable.
