ALL ADULTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE ID- This is something that isn’t mentioned anywhere, and the manager was condescending about this request as if it was noted anywhere. Unfortunately my wife had left her wallet at home and we were 3 hours away from home. The manager seemed irate at the fact and said all adults needed a photo ID or we couldn’t check in. My wife didn’t have a picture of her ID, but did have a picture of her cosmetology license and the manager said no. Finally my wife found a picture of her passport and they seemed so inconvenienced. I reiterated that presenting ID’s wasn’t noted anywhere. I don’t like being made out to be a problematic customer when the rules/ requirements are not stated anywhere. People aren’t psychic. I gather (now) that it’s due to the area, there’s a lot of obvious sex work, but, again, not the customer’s problem or fault. After checking in, there was no hot water. When I called front desk, a different gal said the manager knew but was off for the night and that we were supposed to have been notified upon checking in that there wouldn’t be hot water that night nor the following day. This was even more upsetting since none of that was mentioned. Needless to say, we made due. The following morning while I checked out I asked the manager if she could compensate us for the inconvenience. There was a reluctance but she ultimately offered a $20 refund since “they’ve been having problems with the boiler.”

Not enough sleep
I ended up with a downstairs room by the office .Got disturbed most of the night with oeople coming and going talking and making noise. Didnt get much sleep. If I decide to come back I will request upstairs room. If I cant get I will cancel and go somewhere else.

The room smelled like cleaning product, overpowering smell. And the sink had baby cockroaches coming out of it. When I went to the front desk to report it, they said to me “oh, did you take pictures? We can’t do anything if you didn’t take pictures.” Who says that? In response to a customer complaining about about seeing cockroaches. I was not in the room longer than 10 minutes before I reported it. And the manager said to me well the room is used now I can’t give you any kind of refund unless you have pictures. I just left. I didn’t care. Bad service bad management.

I wasn't expecting the best, but this place was pretty low quality. There was a huge crack in the floor at our room, a big patched hole in the door, the vent in the bathroom was really rusty and painted over and over. The beds were definitely older. It was an ok place for a one night last minute stay, but not for a planned visit.
