The wait staff at the lounge/bar and the restaurant were very friendly and did a great job in making us feel special and gave us a great experience. They were the highlight of our entire stay and we highly commend the staff for their professionalism and loveliness. The staff at the front desk were also very friendly and patient with customers however, they rarely followed up on requests that couldn't be met immediately. I called 4x before arrival requesting a credit card authorization form and never received it despite being told it was on its way each time. They apologized which was nice but I needed the job done and they couldn't make it happen. Same situation applies with meeting our needs to adjust our folio expenses (which was their offer to adjust due to them having to change our room type, they offered and I accepted and appreciated their willingness to help). However, we never saw the adjustments on our folio and was told to contact the manager to see that it got done after we checked out and left the property. I contacted the manager via phone only to be able to leave a voice mail and have yet to receive a response. We enjoyed the stay and have enjoyed staying there in the past but this time around (since becoming a Marriot property?) the experience made us feel like they were either understaffed, under trained or new to hospitality. Can't say we'll be back soon.
