Great place to stay. Great location. The hotel is beautiful, the staff treats you like you are a VIP. We only ate at the Schooners Restaurant on site. The food and staff was excellent. You have the option of eating inside or out. Both nights we ate outside. The heaters kept us warm and we enjoyed the sounds of the crashing waves. We stayed on the fourth floor apparently below the gym, which is on the fifth floor. The gym opens at 6 AM and two out of the three nights we slept there we could hear someone running on the treadmill at 6 AM. The sound was not loud but it was noticeable. We were on the water side and the sea lions were barking all night. We kept the windows closed and the sound was barely noticeable. The rooms are nice. The gym is really good for a hotel gym. I can’t speak about the spa since I didn’t use it. All in all we loved this place and would stay there again.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. The room was clean with a great view of the bay and had a balcony where you can spot the otters and seals with the provided binoculars. Restaurants had great service and offered room service. Check in, valet and bell service were top notch. Would stay there again when in Monterrey for sure.

We really didn't enjoy the area around the hotel, seemed to have gone down hill since we've been years ago so we stayed in the hotel room, opened the balcony doors and enjoyed the view!!!

Nice place, BUT...
I chose this hotel for our anniversary trip. I reserved a room with an ocean view. The location and service at the hotel were great, unfortunately the room that we had was on an inside corner which faced another room (see photo), so when we would go up to the window to enjoy the view, we were also looking directly into someone else's room! Very disappointing.
