This property is perfectly located in Monterey. Right on the ocean in Cannery Row. I was impressed with the size of our room and cleanliness.also the staff is very serviced oriented and friendly. The negatives , coffee machine in room didnt work, towels were rough, no over sheet on bed, just comforter. For the high price I expected no issues. I will probably not stay at this hotel again.

Nice except for damaged mattress.
Our stay was nice except for one very big thing: the bed (which explains the low stars under comfort and condition). The first night our mattress was completely shot; we sunk when lying down and had to use extra pillows under our backs to get any support. The next day we were able to change rooms and the mattress was MUCH better. I hope they will inspect all their mattresses to make sure they're in reasonably good shape.
