The property is straight forwards d it is quite very close to downtown Pacific Grove and walking distance to the ocean and Golf is next door. What kept this from a 5 is the vent in the room was dirty and the screen door to the balcony had rip. Otherwise we enjoyed.

The location is good for our needs, love being close to the lighthouse and the town of Pacific Grove. The property is older and a bit run down. There were ants in the bathroom. The gardener blew parking lot dirt on our car, which stuck due to the damp weather. All in all, we might try to the Cottages next time.

The rooms were clean. The room smelled Nice. I have stayed here before and it felt and was Much cleaner. This places needs a lot of TLC. It seems like the cleaners work hard but it feels run down. I wouldn't trust the pool or hot tub infection control wise. Feels over run without a lot of upkeep. Garbage cans in view right outside where we stayed. Not a good clean feeling. Hope they can invest more into this potential. Surely they receive lots of $$ ... it was full when I was there

Gross small rooms, dishonest practices
This place was awful. Maybe the bigger cottage rooms are good to stay in but their smaller rooms near the entrance were so bad we left after about two hours. There’s no privacy for those rooms. Extremely dirty with broken parts of the wall. No screens on the windows we had until they removed a screen from a different room they wouldn’t let us move into instead. Disgusting smell in the room, probably due to how dirty it is. The bed had zero support and made the cartoonish noisy spring noise whenever you moved on it. When we tried to cancel and get our money back, the manager refused to give it to us and he lied to Hotels.com about how long we were in the room as part of his refusal. Thankfully Hotels.com took care of us despite the manager’s inappropriate display of customer service. Again you might have better luck with cottage rooms. Maybe they’re inhabitable for more than two hours. The staff was very nice despite how unacceptable the room was. It’s just the manager lied to try to save his money. I would not have left a bad and honest review like this if he hadn’t lied.

First time here. Staff was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. Our room faced a cemetery but it was actually beautiful to wake up and go to sleep to beautiful deer right out our patio door. Pool was very warm too :)
