It could’ve been better.. it was very loud at night, it was cold so I didn’t want to go swimming but the pool was super dirty and ugly, it just brought the appearance down so much. The breakfast was disgusting!! So if you are looking for a hotel that comes with breakfast don’t do this one. The reason I gave it two stars was because the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and nice! But besides that it had many downfalls

This was the worst and dirtiest hotel i’ve ever stayed at. containing broken curtains, dirty towels and bed sheets. mold in the bathroom. dirty odor from the carpet. it was super unpleasant to stay there.

The staff were great but the hotel was not as the pictures describe. The rooms were cold and everything was either missing, broken, or unavailable. The sheets were dirty. The knobs to some of the drawers were missing. Everything was sticky like it wasn't cleaned in a long time. The vent to the restroom was damaged and missing a few parts from the ceiling. The floors in the restroom were cracked. The breakfast was not as described. No waffles, no eggs, no bacon. Only toast and unflavored cereal.

No phone in room, had to call hotel on my phone to get tv fixed. Showe never got hot ? After 3-4 minutes of running the water I gave up. Heater in room only blowed cold air. Room smelled of cigarette smoke ( non smoking room).

I stayed at this hotel for one night while in town for a graduation. I booked a room with a king bed. Unfortunately, the room felt quite dated — there were missing knobs on the furniture and visible patchwork on the walls that hadn’t been fully finished. The carpet looked like it could use a deep cleaning. On a positive note, the bathroom area appeared to be clean. However, I had read previous reviews mentioning sightings of cockroaches and hoped I wouldn’t encounter any. To my disappointment, I found a dead roach in the light fixture above the shower, and later saw another one scurry across the ceiling near the bathroom sink as I was getting ready. I was relieved that my stay was only for one night. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

We arrived at the Laurel Inn at approximately 6:15pm and noticed the entire neighborhood was without power. The hotel front desk staff informed us that we would be able to check in and access our room, but that the estimated restoration time was 10:30pm. We received our room keys (one of which did not work) and eventually located our room. It was dark aside from some light from the window and very hot with no air conditioning, so we deposited our luggage and drove across town to find a restaurant with power. Upon our return, we were able to turn on the light and notice a number of cleanliness and maintenance issues. These issues included: Stains and rips/tears/holes in the carpet Curtains that did not fully close and were stained red with what I hope was wine or rust A dresser with three drawers, one of which was unusable because it had no handles Hair on the bathtub rim, and a tub that was turning blue Non-functioning bathroom exhaust/shower ventilation Bathroom exhaust/shower ventilation cover held to the ceiling with masking tape TV remote that did not work and TV that didn’t get any channels when turned on manually at 2am, we were startled awake by someone furiously trying to enter our room. After realizing what was going on, I immediately latched the deadbolt. The attempts stopped, only to resume 5 minute later with a person successfully opening the door. We stopped the person before they could enter. The hotel staff had assigned another Guest to our room.
