Check in was great. Gentleman at desk was very accommodating getting us a room on the first floor. Room was very clean, fireplace was a nice added touch and maid service provided us clean towels everyday. It was very convenient for us to venture out and see the sights. Big Sur, Seventeen mile drive, Lovers Point , etc.. It is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood which was also a plus. If we’re ever back in the area I would stay here again.

The property is older, but very quaint.And very well maintained. The staff was very polite and helpful. And when we left in the morning we were greeted with 3 dear in the parking lot. Very enjoyable stay and we will be back.

Cozy room. Older property but well maintained. Very friendly staff. I arrived early and was allowed to check in before noon which was a very nice surprise. Great value for the money. Would stay here again.

Hotel was very nice and clean. We have a little one so we were unable to take advantage of the fireplace but there was a heater in the room. Beds were very high so if traveling with a toddler I suggest a step stool. We had a nice walk to PG Coffee house and the beach was stunning. A big thank you to Deer Haven for accommodating with a downstairs room for our guest that needed to be on the first floor. It was a nice and quiet lovely stay.

Just eh, your average run of the mill motel that needs updating. A smart TV where I can log in to my own services would have been nice. I got suckered in by the beautiful photos but didn't realize they depicted off-property places and activities.

Overall clean, the room was tidy and toiletries stocked. The staff was lovely and there was hardly any street noise, though our room adjoined the housekeeping closet so there was a lot of bustle during the day. Generally, I would recommend for an affordable place to stay.
