Great Inn
This is our favorite place to stay when we go to Pacific Grove. The only thing we miss are the chocolate chip cookies each night and the scones they used to serve with a fruit parfait! We still get the fruit parfait which is delicious but the danishes are just ok.

Historic building with small historic rooms
They let a dog sneak in who barked all night. Other than that it was nice. The rooms are very small. No dresser or any way to lay out your cloths. There is an armoire if you want to hang up your socks. You have to live out of your suitcase. They do offer a free nightly glass of wine. Very nice sitting in the parlor.

Great value, a step back in time. Updated bathroom
Lovely older inn with off street parking, happy hour sparkling wine, all day tea/coffee and simple continental brekkie. Simple decor but very comfy sitting room with fireplace and friendly humans. Staff were accommodating for early arrival and it is walkable to Pacific Grove shops and restaurants, one block to magical Lovers Lane beach with lots of seal pups to marvel at a short walk along the bike path. Just a lovely time!

Such a cute, historical inn to stay! The rooms are pretty old, so factor that in, but very cute and rustic common rooms. Not much for breakfast, but there are many cute cafes nearby if you have any dietary restrictions like me. Loved exploring the inn with all the wintery lights!

This older property is located near to the main dining and shopping area of Pacific Grove. Parking can be problematic due to narrow streets and closely packed residences. The rooms are adequately sized but due to age of building, floors and doors are a little creaky. No soundproofing of course but guests were not noisy during our visit. No staffing after 9 p.m. until morning is unfortunate. It is however, a slice of local history nicely preserved for this coastal town.

The staff has been very friendly and helpful. I recommend accepting the use of text messaging for communicating with hotel staff. It has proven very useful and reminded me of things I might have otherwise forgotten. My wife and I would definitely consider returning for the hospitality we have received here. As for the accommodations, the room (for us, it was cute cottage next to the main building) was comfortable, with and old world charm, but with all the necessary modern amenities. In the lobby area, there is a common area with tables for dining and a big screen television surrounded by couches and comfy chairs, a coffee table and a cabinet filled with board games for a little group entertainment. All in all, I would definitely recommend Centrella Hotel if you're looking for someplace outside of the big corporate hotel chains, or for a romantic weekend.

It was ok. Super old. Lukewarm staff. Clean for how old it was. New carpet is a 100% necessity and maybe an option other than yogurt for “breakfast” would be nice. Staff was friendly but didn’t seem too excited to be there.

The pictures on the website are a little nicer than the actual rooms. However for the price, it was perfect for one night. The staff was friendly and check in was easy. The breakfast in the morning could have been better if they offered hot food like eggs instead of just breads and yogurts. The juice and coffee was abundant and the parfait with fresh fruit was delicious.
