Loved our stay with dogs
Loved our stay at Carmel River Inn. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They were very considerate of our dogs and have lots of small touches for dog owners. The room was comfortable and quite spacious. We were in the older cottage, no not one of the newly remodeled King ones, but it was still pleasant and we really enjoyed the stay.

Perfect Dog Friendly Weekend!
We loved our stay at Carmel River Inn! The little studio cottage was perfect for my husband and me to take our 2 dogs along with us. There was even a cute little fenced in patio to sit outside. The staff were friendly at check in and helped me with recommendations for the Carmel area. The room did seem a little dated, but overall it was a great stay! We loved the beautiful property and the little walking trail they had. We would definitely return for future trips.

All of the cottages were attractive from the outside. The entrance to the property was right off the main highway, yet wasn't noisy. The cookware was in pristine condition. The bed was comfortable and many layers of covers of various thickness were provided, so you could get your temperature just right. I would have appreciated if I could have turned off the outside light on the cottage. I don't like coming in the window at night when I'm trying to sleep. There was a blind, but no curtain to block the light.

The grounds are beautiful. The accommodations are very nice with the exception of the beds ROCK HARD and uncomfortable. The tent glamping has a curfew of 9pm and the walls are transparent. The staff is not aware of privacy issues and should place guests one room apart in order to mitigate the sound pollution from one room to the other.

Great experience! Tiny Home/Glamping Village
My family and I had a great experience staying here. We loved our 2 queen bed cottage/cabin. The cabin was clean & i think newly built. So glad we chose to stay here. The kids enjoyed having breakfast on the patio. We hope to come back soon!

Charming old fashion hotel. Friendly staff, very clean room, no AC, shower stall very small, shower head pipe moves a lot, beds are small and balconies are all connected where someone from another room can walk through the partition that only partially blocks each room
