Wow, I loved this hotel! Brought my toddler to Monterey/Carmel for my birthday. We loved the conveniency of both back and front parking lots, our swimming pool time (although it was a bit chilly cus the sun can’t really shine through the trees that are blocking it so it’s all shade), and how close it was to lots of restaurants! It’s also pretty close to the beach but since my son is only 3, we drove there each time. The front desk person was kind enough to start our fireplace for us, and he even gave me a piece of cake since I mentioned it was my birthday! The only thing I wish the room had was a microwave but they allowed me to use the one in the breakfast area when needed until about 3:00 when they lock the room. Other than that small thing, staying here was wonderful and I would stay again!

Carmel Bay View Inn is a hidden gem just a block up from downtown Carmel Village area. Restaurants, stores and parks were walking distance. We could’ve walked to the beach but would’ve took a little over 25 min. The Inn is nice and convenient, we loved that we were able to save money on breakfast as long as you get there before 10:30am because it was complementary. Check in and out was quick. Staff is friendly. Room was perfect size as we didn’t spend much time in there. Only complaint was no central air. They had a fire place and a heater which we never used and would have totally cranked up the ac if available so we ended up having to open all windows and the door at night before bed to cool the room down before actually feeling cool enough to rest.

This property was conveniently located to the downtown area. It had many dining options and a small market next-door. Mike at the reception desk was super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely come back to this property again.
