The location is walkable to Cannery Row, but it’s on the far end. Also, our fireplace did not work. It was noisy. We were right next to the elevator.

Our stay was okay overall. We aren't picky people so as long as the place is clean and comfy. The cons: the surrounding area is a little rough, very stiff mattress and no windows in our room to crack at night (we made do with the sliding door). The pros: clean room, nice fireplace, very nice staff. This inn was really close to Cannery Row and it was a hard price to beat. Personally if the mattresses were a little softer I'd love it more, but we'd still stay again!

The room smelled horribly musty. I asked to change rooms and was told they didn’t have a room. They sprayed Fabreze and said they would give me a discount. When we got back I had to open the door again due to the smell. I never recieved a credit or anything. I should have left but I was taking kids out and didn’t have a lot of time. We were in the ground level and I had to leave the slider open all night because I was concerned about the girls inhaling mold. Since we were on ground level with the sliding door open and close to the street I didn’t sleep.

A great place to stay
Cute, economical hotel right at the beginning of Cannery Row, across from San Carlos Beach. The Aquarium and all of Cannery Row are within walking distance on a cute and popular walking trail.

I would definitely stay here again. Great location & great price. It’s an older hotel if I were going for my anniversary or another special event I’d probably increase my budget, but for a quick weekend stay it was just perfect!!!!

Check-in was easy. The property was clean and had plenty of parking. The parking spots were sized right for a medium sized SUV, so that was nice to have. The hotel room was in good condition, except the balcony screen door was off the track and couldn't be opened. Not a big deal on a short weekend trip. Just be aware this hotel does not offer continental breakfasts. There are plenty of breakfast options within walking distance, so it wasn't a big deal.

Great location half a block from northern end of Cannery Row. If you just looking for a moderately priced, clean with parking consider this convenient location. Staff was helpful and let us check out an hour later so we could squeeze in a sea kayak rental from an establishment only half a block away. No other amenities that I’m aware of but convenient, clean and moderately priced, close to restaurants, including the Cannery Row Deli ( one block) which was good for a cheap breakfast and lunch.

Nice place, well priced.
Great stay for the price! This location is 12 minutes walking from the Aquarium, and about the same to the Wharf. My wife and I stayed for two nights during the week and got the partial bay view room. This is priced about half what a nearby hotel was for the same trip. The location is clean however small details were clearly missed during previous remodels. Overall I would recommend this Inn if you are looking for a good location in the cannery district for a quick two-three day getaway.
