The property was good, the service was great, the area at night is noisy due to the long lines at the drive through of the In & Out and Mc Donald’s stores.

Fragranced linens gave me reactions
This is a GREAT motel. Just one BIG problem for me: they wash their linens in a detergent that contains fragrance. Within one hour of taking a shower and using their towel, I was having some discomfort breathing. Then I had to sleep in the bed, making sure not to turn my face to the pillow and using my own extra blanket. Unfortunately the fragrance clung to my PJ's and the extra blanket, and after only one night at this hotel, the fragrance WENT WITH ME on my trip. I was itchy even three days later. Fragrance free detergent works for everybody; people who are not allergic won't really notice the difference. But it can make or break an overnight stay for people as messed up as me. Please, please use fragrance free detergents and soaps!! Otherwise, this motel was such a wonderful surprise in an otherwise unexceptional town - clean, updated, nice looking, next door to In-n-Out!
