The Arbor Inn is a satisfactory property along Hotel-Motel Row on Munras Ave. The staff is professional and the rooms are appropriate for the overall quality, grade and price for roadside accommodations. The positives: the room (#256) was clean, towels plentiful and shower water pressure strong. Parking was convenient. The mattress was worn but not bad. The bed linens were satisfactory. The negatives: The water pressure in the bathroom sink was nearly non-existent. Two bags of trash were left outside of the room next to mine for more than two days. The staff, upon check-in, should inform guests that their room(s) will not be cleaned daily. I stayed at the property for six nights and got what I paid for, except for the low water pressure in the bathroom sink.

We were looking for a clean, budget-friendly, easy overnight while we were in the Monterey area visiting the aquarium and seeing a music show. The Arbor Inn worked great for us (two adults, one child); the front desk staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, beds comfortable, and check-in and out were easy. We did wish the room had an extra lamp--it seemed pretty dim even with all the available lights on, making it tricky to find things inside our luggage. The beds were a tight fit for the space--the door hit the foot of the bed when opened, but that was a minor problem and didn't really affect our stay for only one night. Would stay here again on our way through the area in the future.

Our room had high ceilings and smelled great! Beds were comfortable and parking was great. Pet friendly as well. The room felt outdated because it had rug flooring but it seemed new and clean. Definitely going back.
