The staff was great. They are constantly mopping so floors were slippery. At check in we couldn’t get in our room because the door was broken or needed to be charged. Throughout our stay the power kept going out so that wasn’t good. Everything shuts down at 10 or 11

This place is staffed with some of the friendliest people! Unfortunately it does not overcome some of the shortcomings. We tried a specialty restaurant the 1st night and decided we would rather stick with the nightly buffet after such a disappointing meal. Rules seem to be haphazard or made up at times; there were topless women poolside, rules as to where you can eat/drink that are not posted, and the minute you get onto the beach 3 paddleboards full of sales people and their stuff begin bugging you to buy something. It just has the overall atmosphere/feel of a hotel instead of a resort. Screws backed out on light fixtures, parts missing from toilet seats, scratches and scuff marks all over the place, there just does not seem to be much pride taken in care of the establishment.

Very nice relaxing resort! Staff is great. Many good food options, food is plentiful and delicious. I didn’t like the dining reservations, it was too limited. Many days there was nothing available except the buffet. You have to try and book your dinner reservations for your entire stay as soon as you check in or you likely won’t have options. A few little housekeeping issues but I realize they are busy. Room service plates/leftover food was left in hallway outside of rooms sometimes all day. It was gross seeing that. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the RIU Palace Jamaica, and I have to say, there were some standout aspects that made my experience memorable. The food was absolutely amazing—each meal was a delightful culinary adventure, with a wide variety of options that catered to every palate. From fresh seafood to delicious local dishes, every bite was a treat. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our stay, making us feel like valued guests. However, I did find the interior of the hotel to be somewhat dated. While the charm of the property was evident, it felt a bit out of step with the expectations set by its price point. It was surprising to see that the nearby Montego Bay location, which had been recently updated, lacked some of the amenities that the Palace offered. It felt a bit backwards and unfair that we paid more for what felt like an older property. In essence, while the RIU Palace Jamaica excels in food and service, I believe that the property would benefit greatly from some renovations to match the outstanding experience provided by the staff and dining options. Ideally, the Palace's amenities should be at the Montego Bay location, as it would create a perfect blend of modern updates and exceptional service. Overall, I would recommend the RIU Palace, but with the caveat that the interior is dated.

The property was Nice, but that Cheap Liquor is NO GOOD! For All the Miney Spent, they should offer Better Quality And not Just for the Elite Club. Also it was My Birthday and I asked for Comp Bittle of Champagne and they said No, i could only get a Glass. I’ve stayed Many Other All Inclusive where, they gave Me a Bottle with NO PROBLEM.

All if the staff was amazing. They checked on us all thoughout the day to make sure everything was going good. Winston at the pool bar was the best!! I also enjoyed the nightly check up from housekeeping.
