The property is beautiful. There were areas in need of some TLC. We paid for a privilege package and were disappointed to see children on the adult side of the beach. The staff although friendly and attentive consistently hounded you to purchase a RCI vacation package. The food was absolutely terrible and the drinks not great either.

We recently stayed at Ocean Eden Bay and were greeted warmly by the friendly and welcoming staff. However, there were several disappointing aspects of our experience that I feel compelled to share. First, upon arrival, we discovered roaches in our room. Although the staff was quick to assist, this was not the kind of surprise we expected at a supposedly high-quality resort. The resort advertises itself as all-inclusive, but I found that to be misleading. Many restaurants were either fully booked or closed, limiting our dining options. The food we did try was mediocre at best, with little authentic Jamaican flavor. Surprisingly, fresh fruit and vegetables were also in short supply. Breakfast was the only decent meal, thanks to the made-to-order omelettes. The beach had its issues as well. The adult section was too rocky to enjoy comfortably, forcing us to use the family area for a pleasant ocean experience. Lastly, beware of the timeshare presentation. It was sold to us as a “VIP breakfast and gift,” but in reality, it was just the regular breakfast buffet, followed by a lengthy two-hour presentation. The “gift” turned out to be seasonings—not what we expected. The amazing staff is truly the highlight of Ocean Eden Bay, but if it weren’t for them, I would hesitate to recommend this hotel. There’s room for improvement in several key areas, and I hope they make the necessary changes to provide a more enjoyable experience for future guests.

The grounds are beautiful but the buildings/rooms are in need of MUCH maintenance! The grout in bathroom and pools are DISGUSTINGLY MOLDY! Privileged rooms are a rip off no Privileges!!! Room service menu is the WORST! Staff was amazing!

First of all I paid for an ocean view room and received a poolside room. Secondly the wet bar in the room was stocked only once. A tissue box in the room with no tissues. Lastly the people who cleaned the rooms never had washcloths, we had to call the front the desk to ask for them. Lastly, the food in all the buffets were cold unless you got an omelet or pasta made to order. I would not say this was a good stay or a resort I would visit again.

Overall, we did not enjoy our stay. The rooms were dirty, the service was poor, the food was horrible and very limited. Good luck finding food between 2-5pm. The entertainment was mediocre to say the least. I would not recommend or return to Ocean Eden Bay.
