What a perfect honeymoon we just had at Excellence! This was the first trip we took together that we spent a good chunk of change on to really make it a special vacation as newlyweds. And it was worth every penny. We loved our room, the staff, the amenities, the view (of course), and most importantly. That there were no children! Lol 10/10 would recommend for your next romantic, adult-centric, luxurious vacation!

Open arriving at the hotel I had a 2 hour wait in order to get into my room. You would think the room would be clean by then. Nope guess again!! The shower had hair in it, the sink was not clean and smudges all over. The mirror. Not what I expected from a resort that prides itself on ” excellence” The beach that was reserved for excellence guest was subpar to say the least. With only one waitress for my entire one week stay to serve guest. The excellence was not worth the over exuberant price that we paid. Find some place else that is a true five star.

Photos on the website are extremelyyyyy deceiving. Staff is very rude and they don’t even try and hide it. We got up charged for everything and even when I cancelled the private dinner for one of my guests that was no longer attending, they knew about this weeks in advance, they still charged me for it. I never liked all inclusive hotels — this is only my second one, ever — and now I remember why. Extremely disappointed with how my stay there was. I was here with a group and to be treated this way is unreal.

Property very clean overall. Food quality and options not to the level we have experienced at other all-inclusive resorts. Restaurant availability disappointing, there is only a handful of restaurants and more than 3 closed each day. Not much going on as far as entertainment.

I loved my stay at The Excellence Oyster Bay. I was there for a family vacation and the stay exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and that’s not something I say a lot about resort meals. Each of the restaurants we attended was a great experience. The Lobster House, Caribbean Grove, Spice and The Kitchen were all amazing and the staff was so helpful. The entertainment was great as well. I enjoyed archery with CJ and the aloe class with Coco Chanel. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and well maintained. Overall, me and my family really enjoyed ourselves and will be returning.

Food was terrible Breakfast buffet food was cold every morning. Staff expects tips for everything you do even if it’s part of their job description. Was suppose to have a private chef for mishap on their behalf the chef never showed. Jacuzzi was cleaned with the same mop they used to mop the floor. Room service wait time was always 2hrs and they expect tips. This resort was all hype it is not worth the money. Reminds me of a nursing home facility

This is our second time back to this resort and it was wonderful. The Excellence club is the way to go. You have upgraded alcohol, several sections around the resort just for you and it's own area to eat as well. The service was absolutely wonderful, food was great. We liked all of the restaurants. Some portion sizes for dinner were smaller than expected, but were able to order more if we wanted. Would recommend this resort as there are many options at the hotel, it you want to be by the main pool, hang out, talk, listen to music, play games, etc. The Excellence club section around the beach houses was quiet if you wanted that as well. There are nightly shows, music and options if you want to be up a little later.

This was our second time at this resort, and 5th with the Excellence Resort company. This particular trip we had a really great location in the main building close to everything. Our view was awesome. Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. Our only complaint was our so called special anniversary package. While it was a nice gesture and we did get a nice welcome of cheese and wine, but what they called our "Romantic Dinner" was nothing more than to give us a reserved time in a restuarant we could have just gone to ourselves. Same with the breakfast in bed. Jerk Hut ran out of plates one day for over an hour with many people waiting. None of these things will keep us from returning in the near future.

Acknowledged requests for room Private Pool Jr Suite Garden View in Bldg 2 (I'm disabled & didn't want to be far from Restaurants, Shows, Pool) & that soda & liquor be replaced w/Red Stripe Beer & Rose Wine were ignored. No one informed us that we had to request maid service or gave a map. Advertised numerous restaurants & most were closed. Only Buffet for Breakfast, No hot water one night. Roaches. Nice property totally mismanaged.
