I was expecting a good service but I didn’t. They canceled my reservation. The staff was veré rude. They were very hard to handle a situation. I think they need to work on customer service. The room was clean but no coffee pot and hard to get connections for my phone.

Electricity went out in our building only, walls so thin we (including daughter) woke up to noises of sexual acts next door. Beds sank in, caused back pain, can see that mold in the bathroom is just covered with layers of paint, old smell. Front office refused to provide managers number. Worse experience ever !

Dishonest Management... DO NOT STAY HERE

It was comfortable enough to sleep in, until @ 1:30am the guest nextdoor began banging furniture, singing, speaking, & playing music, all VERY loudly. It woke me up, was startling, sounded like it was in my own room, & went on for 3HRS. 4:30am I alerted the night mgr, who threatened the drunk/high guest w/ calling the cops. I asked if I could switch rms, since I had to travel later in the morning. He said there were no other rms. The guest didn’t get quiet. At 4:45am I packed my things & asked the night mgr for a refund. He said he couldn’t, but the day-mgr could & I shouldn’t have difficulty getting a refund. I left, & went to a rest stop about ½hr down the hwy & took a 2hr nap in the backseat of my cramped sedan to avoid falling asleep @ the wheel. I PREFERRED TO SLEEP ON THE SIDE OF THE HWY IN A SMALL BACKSEAT THAN AT RED ROOF INN IN MONROE. Despite many attempts to receive a refund & being told by the night mgr a refund would be possible, mgmt has denied the refund at least 3 separate times, with different stories each time: The stay was non-refundable. She’s not authorized to give the refund & can’t reach her boss. After being put on hold for a while, she blames it on Hotels.com. “They be lyin’.” She stated that it was not the hotel mgmt denying the refund, but instead the Hotels.com rep was incentivized to not provide a refund. But, when pressed, she denied it on the grounds that no one else had complained about the disorderly guest, despite the night mgr's involvement
