Room was really outdated, ceiling was marked with water spots 8. Couch just plain smelly! Date of stay. Feb 14 15 16 it snowed here in southern Michigan 2” parking lot was plowed once over the 3 days. Very little salt was used. Hazardous! Sideways were even more dangerous never cleaned, salted once, snow and ice covered. Would never stay here agin. Plus, the whole building smells of Marijuana.

The bed was comfy at least.

Don't really expect much at this price point and got pretty much what I expected. The bed was comfy and I slept well, which is the whole point I suppose. I regularly stay in rooms on the same level and am more often than not, pleasantly surprised. Not so much this time. Most of my rooms have a little coffee maker, not here. The breakfast options were not appealing at all, even expecting waffles and bagels and such. The coffee wasn't so good either. The worst part was the whole place has laminate flooring and very few mats, including none in the room. Probably fine most of the time but when you track in snow, you get puddles all over the place. TV was maybe 22" at most. The staff I spoke to were quite nice.

The photo(s) of the gym are not an accurate representation of the gym provided by facility. The treadmill doesn’t/didnt even work. The other two pieces of equipment were horribly old/outdated. The gym was as small as a walk in closet. I did not like how I had to go check out a separate key to use the facility instead of my room key just letting me in. The ceiling in my room had multiple dark brown water stains. The door to exit the building SLAMS very hard and loud. So much so that I could hear it in my second floor room… ALL night. The windows were extremely gross. All kinds of cobwebs and debris in/on/around them. Bed sounds and feels like a prison bed.

For the price point, the hotel was nice, clean and the staff was friendly. Clearly an older building with slightly smaller rooms, but those rooms were clean and beds were comfortable and it seems the flooring in room was recently upgraded/replaced. Joy and Michael at reception were super friendly and helpful. For a reasonably affordable option, I would definitely return.

When I arrived to check in my room wasn’t cleaned. I let the staff know at the front he said to talk to the manager in the morning. When I spoke with the manager he said he would simply have the room cleaned. That was the only time the room was cleaned the entire time with me personally asking the cleaning staff to come to my room.
