There was a show so the hotel was sold out. We waited in line over a half hour between 3:30 and 4:00 pm to check in to find out the rooms were not ready. As we completed the process one became available and we accepted a different type room for our second room so we didn’t miss our dinner reservation. Other than the painfully slow check in we were pleased.

Our stay was great. My only negative would be the pillows. Very uncomfortable.

Hot tub too boiling to get in
Got there Sunday and went to the hot tub and it was scalding hot and your eyes burned just by standing near it. No one could get in or you skin was burned. Told the front desk but looked like nothing was done cause no one was in it all evening when we checked. Told them at checkout I was disappointed and he said maintenance left at 4:30 the day before so it probably wasn’t fixed yet. This was the only reason we picked that hotel.

Although the rooms are spacious and clean, this hotel charges a surcharge for using a credit card (no matter who you made the reservation through) and a cleaning fee (even if they do not clean the room). That is on top of the sales tax and accommodation tax!

Two issues which haven’t changed over the years- one is the long check in lines on arrival, particularly on concert nights and the other is the pillows, which are more like sofa cushions in both size and comfort levels. So my advice is bring your own pillows and be prepared for a 30-45 minute lineup as there are no electronic check in options

Dirty and Outdated! Avoid!!!
Stayed here last night with my wife and our son. Hotel is very outdated and is in need of a facelift. My wife and I stayed here back in November of 2017 and it was quite nice at that time - problem is that the years have passed but the hotel has not kept up with the times or maintained any of their rooms and surrounding property. Bed was uncomfortable, carpets in room were stained and dirty and as the evening progressed, I noted empty liquor bottles on the third floor by the elevator, in the hallway/pedway enroute to the Casino, and in the pool area. Pool area was outdated with chipped paint and extremely dirty. They flaunt the large rooms but the truth of the matter is that it is just more empty space for dirt and grime to collect. The television did not work when we checked in and I had to call front desk to ask about it, turns out this is a frequent issue and requires guests to unplug the television to reset the system. Parking was limited and we had to park further away. The only people I would recommend this hotel to are young 20 somethings who want to drink, let lose and party, otherwise I would recommend anywhere else for everyone else. My wife, son and I have stayed at the Holiday Inn on Mapleton, Best Western by the Mall, Wingate by Wyndham, Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn and Suites, and the Four Points all in Moncton. All are very nice and more modern than the Casino Hotel. I would recommend the Holiday Inn on Mapleton over all of these with the Wingate closely behind.
