Motel 6 Oakdale

Room was very basic and didn't even have a coffee machine. No coffee in lobby except 6am-9am No breakfast. Expensive room for what is offered.

The staff was very nice! We wanted a non smoking room and were placed in one, but it was above a smoking room. As such, we could smell the smoke, but we didn’t want to be an inconvenience, so we didn’t say anything. After dinner, we came back and it was noticeably worse. I went to the front, and the team was very nice and moved us a few rooms down, above a non smoking room. Our neighbor had their TV on the whole night, and with the walls being razor thin, it was like we were in their room with them. We were also next to the stairs, so we could hear people come up as they were talking to each other, or what felt like stopping in front of the door to yell down at their travel companion. We felt clean overall, but the beds were very uncomfortable, the pillows with no support, and the sheets rough and quite thin. We didn’t use the shower, although it was the lowest shower head I’ve ever seen, and the toilet was quite small. Overall, it checked the box to put your head down at night, but nothing more.
