This is my go to when I come to Turlock. Always a great stay. However this time there is renovations going on at the property and the super sensitive smoke detector set off the fire alarm at 12:30am which was none too pleasant. Took me 2 hours to get back to sleep. My worst fear with fire alarms at hotels was realized. But still, always a great stay here

Great location, felt safe, nice breakfast, and my kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking was easy and lots of restaurants and stores were a walkable distance. I would definitely stay here again.

It was clean and the service was good and friendly but the room was too small for all the furniture worst was dim light and no trash bin in the bath and no mirror in the main room a huge unmatched chair stuffed next to the wall where the exit door is no place else to even move it old awkward cabinet housing microwave and fridge and the most bizarre stand up lamp in one corner you could tell they're renovating which is good the walls had been recently painted but I hope they don't leave the rest of it as is ....one redeeming Factor were the new mattresses and Linens which made for a great night's sleep

Horrible experience
We took a short trip to visit family that has been released from the hospital. It was already a stressful trip and while we were watching tv we started hearing a very quiet beeping. It turned out to a smoke detector in the room, (neither of us are smokers). We get a call from the front desk and informed the employee that there was no fire. We were asked if we smoked and of course we don’t. Apparently we must’ve looked a certain way at check it because the desk clerk sent security up to our room and of course he found nothing that would’ve set off the alarm. We were so uncomfortable from the treatment that we left early in the morning after an uncomfortable night without eating the included breakfast. Now I don’t know if it was our tattoos (my husband was a tattoo artist) or what but we definitely felt like we weren’t their “desired” type of guest. This hotel was recommended by a local friend as the other hotels were not as safe and frequented by drug addicts so we paid the more expensive rate which we normally wouldn’t have for such a short stay. I will never stay there or at one of its affiliated hotels again.
