Our stay at this property was awful. The room was run down and needs a deep clean, the beds need to be replaced. Bathroom is gross! Don't think you will be sleeping the trains are honking all night long. The guests above you that allow their kids to jump up and down on the floorboards all night will also keep you awake. No consideration for other guests. Would have also been nice if the property advised you on events that take place and the road out of the property gets blocked off so you are stuck there until it finishes. If you want a sleepless night do stay here!

Very quaint charming … but, it is time for more than minor maintenance. It is time for another renovation. Some people may see some potential safety issues. I really like the times we stayed here. But I really hope this place gets a reset upgrade before it is too late

Amazing gem!
This hotel was a gem!! Definitely will be back! It’s an old place, but very well kept. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to downtown.

A Historic property in downtown Mobile. Very walkable to Attractions Dinning, Shopping and Bars/ Entertainment. It is under renovation. I can see how cute it will be when done.

Beautiful Place
The hotel is beautiful. We loved all the furnishings and the old wood floors, and the courtyard. The four-poster bed was nice, but the mattress was not good. My head was “downhill”, so I didn’t sleep well. I think for a one-night stay the hotel is fine, but I would not recommend a longer stay.

Stylish in 1865 but today it’s rundown
The hotel is historic but has not been renovated. It smells musty, the wifi didnt work, the bathtub had rust in it, there was no fridge in the room, the coffee maker was cheap and had dust in the compartment where you put the water- i doubt it had been used in years. Thankfully the bed was comfortable but that’s the only positive thing i can say about this pretty run down hotel. It needs a complete overhaul.
