We were not able to stay. We were arriving late so we called ahead to let them know. They said they would go ahead and check us in so that all we had to do was stop by the desk when we got there to get our key. When we arrived they informed us they gave our room away. They said that’s what you get when you book through a third party. So.. at 2 am we had to find somewhere else to go. The room was non-refundable so we had to get the hotels approval in order to get our money back from hotels.com.. which takes a few days.. I’m not sure where the problem is here.. but this has never happened to us before.. but now I don’t know if I will use hotels.com anymore.

There is nothing unique about the property. Previous reviews are accurate by saying the place did not meet Marriott standards that we are used to. The building is old and smells musty. We had no shower curtain in the bathroom. The breakfast was VERY limited. However, as long as you didn't talk to the staff disresptfully, they were affable. No hot tub and the pool was very cold. It's not a place i would stay at again, but it provided a somewhat decent place to stay for my two day visit.

I usually like to stay at Fairfield hotels. But this one did not reserve the two queen bed room that I had prepaid for. Instead, we got a king bed with a sofa bed that we had to set up ourselves. And the mattress in the sofa bed was thin. You could feel all the coils in it. And I am glad that they shampooed the carpet, but they were still wet when we got there
