The Saint Paul Hotel is absolutely beautiful. My boyfriend used to come every year with his family. It was exciting to be able to bring him back and enjoy as adults. It was a wonderful experience staying during the holidays. There are so many beautiful decorations in the lobby. They had live music and drinks, which was super fun. I will say the only issue I had was with the valet. Upon checkout, we waited for about an hour for a car. We were the first ones out of a large group of people that came to get their vehicles and we sat there for about 50 minutes after originally being helped. At one point, everyone disappeared came back about 20 minutes later asked if we had ever been helped. They did say they had an issue with the car keys, but nobody said anything to us over that hour. I was a bit disappointed due to the reputation of the hotel that this was our experience. The valet even expected a tip after having us wait so long and no apologies or even recognition was extended to us.

It was a great overnight stay after going to the Wild Hockey Game. It was also New Years Eve so that was a plus as the Hotel Bar was vibrant and accessible after the game. We were also celebrating my wife's birthday which was the main reason for staying there. We checked in around 3:30 and got in our very nice King room immediately.

We had temperature issues during our entire stay. It was very cold for the first couple of hours and the thermostat was not catching up when we turned up the heat. In the middle of the night it got so hot my husband said it hit 85 degrees. We mentioned it the following morning at check-out and the lady at the desk said she would send an engineer up to look at it. We had really enjoyed our stay there in the past and were disappointed by it this time. Beautiful hotel and great room service though!
