We stayed in room 222 on December 29th. The thermostat was broken and it was very hot in our room that night. We also booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub for our kids. After we checked in we learned the hot tub was empty and could not be used. Nothing was mentioned when we asked about the pool hours during our arrival and nothing was posted on the site about the hot tub not being operable. When I spoke to staff about the issues, the female clerk did not seem to care and dismissed my concerns. I have been with Marriott for over 20 years and I would not recommend this hotel.

Christmas stay

We traveled over the holiday and arrived a day early which was Christmas Eve and they were able to accommodate an additional day to our stay. Service was great, Christmas Day breakfast was great, room was great. We were very pleased with our stay.

Overall, very good review!

The only complaint about the hotel stay was that the beds were too soft for my liking. To be fair, I haven't found a hotel yet with a bed that is completely comfortable. If we are in the area, we would stay there again because of the cleanliness, quality, location and price.

So comfy - even the pullout couch was comfy! We had to remind them about the crib we'd reserved, but someone brought it up to our room immediately after we said something. Our toddler liked it so much he wanted to stay instead of going home!

Service above and beyond.

We stay here every thanksgiving. (14 years) The desk clerk that checked us in was so friendly and kind. We requested a first floor room due to mobility problems and we got it. Breakfast staff were very nice. My husband left a very special cap back in the room when we checked out. He realized it was missing and went back to hotel. They had cleaned out roo, placed the dap in a bag and labeled it. The clerk called the housecleaning employee, and he got it back. He was ecstatic. A+++++ service! Thank you sooo much.

The property was just ok. When I checked In the front desk told me they were over sold and didn’t want a room on one floor or the other. If I had already checked in on line why did I have to choose. I thought at that time I would just get the keys. Also. Booked three rooms. 1 on Bonvoy site and two others on Expedia. Not sure why the policy is that you cannot get hotel points and the room doesn’t even count towards nights spend. I booked and paid for the rooms. A little disappointed as I always make Marriott my hotel of choice.

The front desk staff was excellent, I cannot say enough about them. The cleaning staff forgot our room one day, a little disappointed. Would have liked the hot tub, especially after our fishing. But the front desk staff made the hotel !!
