The hotel was really nice, and for the size of the room it had way more amenities than we had expected. The staff was super friendly and had the patience to explain things to us. The only issue we really had was that our room had a very strange smell to it - almost like wet dog, and like it had been sprayed with some light air freshener to try to make the smell go away but kind of made it worse, honestly.

Only thing I didn’t like was bugs and spiders once I opened the windows and the canopy by the lake needed the trash dumped and lakeside was full of trash. AM staff were great. Pm staff sat in the lobby on the phone. Unprofessional.

Grew up a couple miles from here and have stayed here a couple times whenever I visit Minnesota. The location is super convenient right off I-94. Staff is great as is the complimentary breakfast. My go to hotel whenever I visit family
