Hyatt Place Minneapolis Airport-South: Stay Here!

I made a last minute flight change and had to stay near the airport. The Hyatt Place Minneapolis Airport was very close. Also, shuttle service to nearby restaurants and Mall of America made my stay much more pleasant. Great place to stay if you're flying in or out of MSP.

Hire better cleaning service

The check in was good. Except they didn’t tell us the usual information about what time is breakfast. What time is the pool open/closed times until my wife asked. We had to ask personally. It was a family trip and the room service was horrible. We have 3 little ones and they love to eat their snacks you can expect crumbs in the floor or a dirty table. They only did our beds. My oldest used the sofa bed it was never put back to normal even though we didn’t leave no bags or clothes or toys on top. They didn’t bother to clean the carpets, wipe down the desk or change the coffee station. We used the glass cups for drinks they were never changed, no new refills on coffee and sugar. We didn’t have towels one day. They never refill the conditioner and body wash. We were out all day we just wanted to come to the hotel shower and sleep. Overall we had drinks in the bar great service. We did go to the pool which the kids love. Very clean and organized just there was no towels provided. We had to go to the front desk and asked for some.

Check in was relatively good. Parking charges are ridiculous and times 2 for having 2 cars. That is ridiculous. Food in the “restaurant “ was pretty mediocre. The rooms are big, was advertised as 2 queen beds. They were doubles.

Excellent staff, convenient Airport shuttle. A nice little bar and lounge area in the lobby and an excellent breakfast. The bed was rather soft for my liking but fine for one night. The TV had a slightly damaged screen but we alerted the staff when we checked out and they were very thankful for letting them know about it.
