Home Run!

Good hotel in great location for attending the Twins game. Awesome front desk service, especially Kelly. Good breakfast with lots of choices. The only issue we had was that we had three guests registered and only two of everything in the bathroom, i.e. towels. If returning to Minneapolis, I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel location excellent. Walking distance to Target Field and Target Center through a covered walkway above the streets. Light Rail Station was 5 minute walk from hotel which we used to US bank Stadium and the airport. Target Department store for groceries 10 minute walk. Alot of restaurant options in the area. Enjoyed the hotel outdoor patio, and lobby area for gathering of our group. Only compliant washard beds and rubber pillows very uncomfortable

Kelly made check in super easy, gave us dinner recommendations, and accommodated our need for a lower-floor room. The entire building is very clean and well-managed. The entrance right off of the skywalk is very convenient to access parking and other nearby areas. The complimentary breakfast buffet was hot and tasty with quite a selection. We are coming back to the area in a month and will definitely stay here again!

Pros and Cons

Book at the last minute. Price was better than everywhere else. Hampton are usually very nice. Hotel was very noisy and bed was not real comfortable. No onsite parking and only room for 2-3 vehicles while checking in/out. Most places we’ve stayed at in big cities offer parking options with your stay. All we got was “you can park here and pay the going rate” found out they can get you parking at check in for less. Location is great for events just wish is was better quality. If you in and out it’s a good option.

I had to ask repeatedly for our room to be cleaned. I had to ask repeatedly for clean towels. We called the front desk 3 times because of a very noise person on the floor above us at 2:30 am and I don’t think anything was ever done about it. The front desk clerk was very rude. The bed was just awful with a dip and appeared to be very old. I will NOT stay at a Hampton Inn again. Very disappointing
