Have stayed here several times over the years while visiting family. It's starting to show age and could use some maintenance. Stayed in a pool side room. Paint was peeling on the ceiling. The min-fridge in the room didn't work. Staff was great. Breakfast buffet was good. Price was fair.

I stayed here with my partner over st patricks day. This is NO chain hotel. The lady at the front desk who greeted us was extremely kind and funny! Even got to meet the owner who was also amazing! This place is beyond charming and homey. The rooms are so comforting decorated in backwoods motif which for anyone around here is very nostalgic. Very clean with all the amenities you would need. I love the huge couch! Beds are also super comfy. I will only stay here when i’m in the area. They also have an adult only swim time, a happy hour with drinks served, and cookies when you check in. I will be back very soon!

Cozy and welcoming

My husband and I had a great stay. The lobby was so cozy, the pool and hot tub were very clean. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was probably one of the best free hotel breakfasts we have had. The only thing that I had to complain about was that in the description here it says free beer, wine and rail drinks 5-7. It is now only beer and wine from 5-6 and I don't drink either.

It was OK

Beautiful hotel. Nice bar and breakfast area. But no closet or any way to hang my clothes for the next day. No iron or ironing board. Window didn't close properly so the wind was howling through it. I wedged a folded up piece of paper around the side to seal it a little better and keep out the wind and noise.
