Good hotel near milan centrale
Hotel was really good. Nice big room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Visit was very short - stop off between train from Florence and onward train to Paris. The hotel is extremely convenient for Milan Centrale.

I was shocked at this property. The room is big, yes but the beds are extremely uncomfortable. Instead of it being a queen sized bed, they put together two twin beds which led my partner to fall on the ground in the middle of the night. We were three people in the room and only offered two towels. At night, I needed a cup of hot water for my tea and medicine and I called the reception a total of 6 times and was not assisted. The hotel is under renovation of some sort and it’s very inconvenient to park, order Ubers and have access to it. The hotel corridor is dark and it feels old and odd. Strange. For 250 a night I expected a bit more modern, better beds, and services. There’s not even a single person to help with luggage! It’s crazy.

Definitely avoid
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Our overall stay was terrible. We had two rooms for four nights, and one of the rooms had mosquitoes. Not one or two, but lots of them. After talking to the front desk, all they could provide was a couple of plug-in mosquito repellents (show they probably had this problem before). We later realized that the room had an ongoing bug problem because there were marks on the walls, especially in the bathroom. Now on to other aspects of the hotel. The hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from Milano Centrale station and the Centrale FS metro station. This is very convenient. The entry and lobby are unimpressive. There are many restaurants close by. These are the positives. Negatives - it is in a business area which is not the greatest. Streets are a little secluded at night. As a tourist there is limited concierge help. This is more of a business hotel but with lots of tour groups coming through as well. Don't count on help from the front desk. For those staying many nights, one disadvantage is that closet space is limited. In short, great location, terrible hotel. Definitely avoid.
