We booked a room at Spice Hotel Milan specifically for the balcony, but unfortunately, it was quite a letdown. The balcony faced the back of another building and had an exhaust duct right next to it, making it unusable and unpleasant—definitely not what we expected.
Additionally, basic amenities like a kettle and coffee/tea pouches were missing in the room. It was surprising, as even budget hotels usually provide these as standard. We had to request a kettle, and although they eventually provided one with some tea bags, it still felt like a basic expectation that should’ve been met from the start.
The only real positive was the location—very close to the station, which made getting around easy. Other than that, our experience didn’t live up to the expectations set by the listing.
