Some staffs were friendly and others were nothing to write home about. The lady at the dinner bistro is a credit to the hotel.
We asked for a shuttle bus and the driver took us to the wrong bus stop .. not T1 exit 10 as they normally advise they pickup from. We spent over an hour looking for where to go and catch our bus and later got to town late which eventually led to us not doing what we wanted to do again.
On coming back from town to T1, i rang the hotel and asked to be picked up confirming 3 adults and 2 children and also confirmed our location. We were lied to that they'd come out twice and we were nowhere to be found and that the driver would come out the third time. Well, there was traffic due to road works when we were picked up.
I asked for iron so i could iron my children's clothing and i was asked to come back at 8am in the morning when my flight was at 7am. NO iron was given.
My children couldn't swim as it is the main reason why i booked the hotel - their excuse was that it is winter. The kids swim all year round in the UK. So,why was this not in their policy to inform potential customers?
The worst experience - this morning, one man was shouting at myself and my mum all because my parent wanted to follow children and I to the airport to go back to the UK. This man genuinely ruined my whole day and confirmed my suspicion about how they care and treat customers who have a different skin colour to them.
Would i book this hotel in future? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
