The hotel was in a great location next to South Beach. Very good service, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Parking was an issue as there isn’t a lot of spaces and its a very busy area. Elevators are very slow, otherwise lovely hotel in Miami.

At first, I was apprehensive to book given mixed reviews from other guests. However, the price point was significantly lower than other hotels in the area. Took a chance, and I’m glad I did! The hotel is lovely and very convenient to everything we wanted to do in South Beach. The hotel even has a private beach right next to the 1 Hotel (literally across the street). The room was spacious, clean, and bright! The hotel amenities and activities like yoga and movie night were an added plus. Restaurant food was fantastic and service excellent. Dollar for dollar, The Gates is a great option for anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful beach getaway without breaking the bank.

I loved everything about this hotel especially the staff. Wendy, Francisco and all the staff at the pool were awesome. Michael and the young lady at the front seat that checked me in were great. Convenient, safe and very clean. I want to thank the ENTIRE staff for such great customer service. I will definitely stay here again.
