I love the lobby area, the pool area and the fact that the beach is easily accessible. I paid for an ocean view room and got a partial view room. The initial room that I was assigned was occupied by someone else. The carpet was dirty and the shower head and faucets in the shower were loose.

There was no parking, so we had to pay the hotel next to us to park and the "parking" attendant at the sherry hotel our hotel was high and agitated. Place is old but not the worst if you want a quick roof. Just be expected to pay a daily fee for Parking and a hidden fee of about 28 dollars.

The property was perfect for wanting to be on the beach. The staff was friendly too except for one gentleman I didn’t get his name who worked Fri evening with glasses. He was a little impatient and seemed as if he didn’t know what he was doing. But the rest of the staff were great.

Stay away from this specific hotel, if you value your health. Me and my wife booked a trip for her birthday for 5 nights through Expedia, photos of the hotel on Expedia looked pretty good, location was good, pool, ocean nearby, and a 10$ a day parking that was mentioned, everything was good and it's not THE CHEAPEST option. Coming in to the hotel, they let me know parking is not available anymore, and that I have to park my car in the nearby hotel for 30$ a day because they have valet parking there. I asked them to check in an hour early so we can go and drop our stuff into the room, and go get something to eat with my wife. And that's what we did. The girl at the front desk just handed us our keys, and pointed us towards the direction of the elevator, what we noticed right away, the hotel has a smell, like an old stale smell. When we came up to our room, room 525, there was a VERY strong smell of air freshener. But we just left our stuff there and went to grab something to eat. Came back at 6PM, went up to the room, it still smells, the AC was making a horrible sound, one of the lights was blinking, they gave us a TV remote, but not a Roku remote so we couldn't even watch TV, we spent 30 minutes in the room and I started having problems breathing, the horrible smell of air freshener didn't go away, and it also smelled like mold, I looked at the ceiling and it looked like it was badly repaired. We decided to grab our stuff and leave the hotel at 6:30 PM because there was no w

Room wasn’t ready at time of check in with even 5 hours notice in advance (flight got there early) and when finally got the room even after the “inspection” they said was being done in room, the bathroom still had hair all over the tub. Disappointed. The photos do not match what it actually looks like. Staff were friendly, the bar in the hotel was great (it’s run separately so it makes sense that would be best part). Lots of restaurants nearby, and a drug store and liquor stores. Also, room keys got deactivated randomly throughout the stay.

Housekeeping knocked once after someone else from Housekeeping knocked and the 2nd person walked in and i was naked putting on myy makeup. Was very violating. Room smells of chemicals but was clean and room was small.

Miami beach stay after a cruise
Overall enjoyed my stay for two days in miami. The hotel has a good outdoor pool and great beach access which I enjoyed alot. There is no parking available which is a huge problem, and I feel the price for the hotel was high for the level of service and the condition of the property. I feel they could improve things by offering better service orientation to helping customers and treating them more helpfully and respectully. The breakfast was rather lacking I felt but was at least something, and again any real service orientation was lacking.

This is a "7" scale hotel. It could be a "8" with strong leadership and a strong customer focus. Ban employee phones at the front desk and teach them how to interact with clients. They are remodeling the South Tower and new furniture is on the way from Peru.
