Well located comfortable hotel. Service variable - some was excellent and some was poor. Japanese restuarant fantastic, Caribbean restaurant great food poor vibes.High service charges.

I stayed at SLS for my birthday in July. The stay was great until, I checked out. The hotel requires valet parking, in small spacing. Valet sqeezes cars to fit in small spacing. Just to collect more money.Valet put a big scratch on my new vehicle. They took pictures and apologized. Valet manager David, stated they would fix the scratches. This has been since July and my car is still not fixed. They offered $200 to fix the scratches on a Mercedes benz paint job. I went to numerous body shops for quotes to have it fixed. Valet at SLS, said it is to expensive to fix. I have contacted David of Valet and Victoria the manager and my car is still not fixed. I advise you not to allow Valet to park your car, if you like your car. We are in October and my car is still scratched. I have been calling every other day with no resolution. Very disappointed with this hotel To this day my car still has not been fixed. Valet is horrible and they are ignoring my calls.The hoel manager claims she cant help me. What is upsetting is the hotel required valet parking but takes no accountability. I gave this hotel 4 stars, but Valet brought it to 2 stars.

I am someone who loves nice things, like ocean views, good vibes, but still want to make sure there is value. I want to be impressed. And sadly I wasn't. This property is just way over priced for the limited things you get. The room is the smallest room I've had in any hotel across cities like Miami, LA, NYC and others by about half the size. I travel a lot so my comparison is based on a lot of hotels across the USA. It's what 250 sq ft while most upgraded rooms at other hotels are 400 sq ft. You barely have room to place your luggage. The gym is humid, small and has very limited equipment & just really outdated. Everytime I ordered food or drinks, even if it was a simple on menu cocktail, it would take 15-25 minutes. And the final straw for me was the attitude I got when I asked to check out at 12 vs 11. I travel 2x a month and never has a hotel gotten upset regardless if they were sold out. The reality is that this hotel makes you feel like you're in the wrong to expect better amenities, faster service and a one hour extension on check out. And so honestly, do not book here unless your #1 reason is to do the pool parties & you need a place to crash. Not impressed. The attitude I got to not extend the hour check out was enough for me to decide I won't be coming back to this property. I travel to Miami once a month and that's a wrap for me and SLS.

The staff were really friendly, great service. The location is really great. The design of the hotel is unique. Pool party access was really nice. Great quality hygiene products i.e. shampoo and cream. I found that the room design was really poor in terms of functionality. i.e no closet, hooks, space to organize clothing.

The ceiling air-conditioning unit in my Villa was leaking water. There was water leaking down to my personal belongings, in the bedroom and the bathroom. Slipped on water in bathroom. Ended up leaving early, and not staying the night in the villa. Overpriced and seriously needs updates.

The best of this hotel is the location. It’s very loud and for parties, not for relaxing at all. Rooms are too small and unbelievable they ask for a deposit of $1200!
