Most buildings in the Miami area are run-down, but this hotel's lobby is in serious need of maintenance. Only 1 out of 3 elevators work, and it can get quite crowded. Michelle at the front desk is a sweetheart and very professional, but the lady at the pool bar is a woman who needs psychological help, or perhaps maybe some love... She's very bitter and resentful.

There were so many terrible reviews about this property and I was very scared to book it but once I got there, I got a renovated room and it was just so great to have that. The pool and the tile around the pool needs to be updated. However, the pool was large somewhat clean. There was days where the pool was a little bit dirty but the beach was gorgeous and clean. You do have to run chairs on the beach though.

This hotel is very old and dated. I had to change rooms. The first room they gave me the shower pipes made a loud pounding sound and was barley any hot water. The staff are great. This place just badly needs a remodel/update. If you have a car there is mandatory valet parking which is $30.00 a day. The valet service is excellent.

Throw up in the elevators, poor customer service, a/c was not working c/s said they were working on it so we went up there to find out what’s the hold up and there was no one working on anything. After 4 hours of waiting they finally got us another room. The room was in deplorable condition mold in the bathroom dirt coming out of the AC vent. In the morning we were leaving we learned someone jumped off the balcony and killed themself. Sight I never wanna see again! I’ll NEVER stay at this place again. Room 311 no ac moved us to room 947 Mold in bathroom

Very outdated & smelly

The worst experience ever! We picked this hotel for its beach front location and reassured ourselves as it belonged to Wyndham, there must be certain service & quality standards to be followed. We are currently staying here and relieved that it would be only for one night… Each room is supposed to have 2 complimentary water bottles. Our group booked 3 rooms, and they had only the water for 2 rooms. When it came to my room, they RAN OUT of the water. Nobody even said anything until I asked about it. As we were staying only for one night, I just didn’t want to buy a whole pack of water which I know I wouldn’t be able to finish. They said I could buy the water from their convenience store but they just didn’t have any “complimentary” water anymore?! The room itself is clean but super old, outdated & the bathroom had a very moldy unpleasant smell. Today there’s a sign saying the WHOLE hotel would be out of water by a few hours tomorrow for plumbing repair/maintenance. I can’t describe how disappointed I am with this whole experience. We decided to come here for an enjoyable time and yet not any piece of the stay is enjoyable at all.
