They had a wedding going on during my stay that they did not let guest know about. So we were unable to dine in at certain parts of the hotel they were off limit to us without notice. My room was not ready after i arrived 1 hour and a half after check in, I was told to wait. Room was dirty when I was finally given the keys. The phone in the room only worked on speaker phone. The continental breakfast that you pay for is definitely not worth it. I went one day and didn’t return the next 2 days. They only offer you a choice of fruit, parfait, bagel and a pastry and one serving of juice, tea, coffee. You have to choose. Not worth it at all. Staff was not very helpful, well at least the guy that checked me in wasn’t.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Mondrian Hotel due to poor management and unprofessional staff. I was told that my complimentary checkout was at 12 PM, but to my surprise, I was locked out of my room at 11:30 AM. When I approached the front desk to address the issue, the staff’s response was dismissive and unhelpful—they simply said, “You should come here and get a new card.” Why wasn’t I informed about this policy beforehand? Why would a hotel lock a guest out before the agreed checkout time without any prior notice? This lack of communication and consideration for guests’ time and convenience is completely unacceptable. On top of that, don’t be fooled by the pictures of the hotel online. The rooms look much older in person, and the layout is awkward and poorly designed. It’s clear that the photos are heavily edited to make the place seem more luxurious than it actually is. The experience left a sour taste, and it’s clear that the management needs serious improvement in handling basic hospitality matters. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free, comfortable stay.

We use workout facilities in all hotels we stay at. It is one of the amenities we look for and found the Monsdrian's photo pleasing for a gym. The gym facilities at the Mondrian are just below excellent as it is missing a squat machine and a curling (bicep) machine. I would rate the gym excellent if you can add these to the gym. We intend to stay here again as the hotel was overall excellent. Adding the squat and bicep machine would make the gym even better.

The pool area is beautiful and the location is great. However the rooms definitely need an upgrade. Uncomfortable pillows and dingy bathrooms. Definitely not 4 star quality that I’m used to.

Meh is the best I can say. The furniture on the balcony is peeling and looks in bad shape. The curtains were stained and def not taken care of. The comforter on the bed had stains. The floor felt sticky and my feet were dirty walking on them. The bed was very hard and low to the ground. The price for SoBe area is almost too high for the quality of the room.

Hotel needs urgently an upgrade

Very low tech the tv is really old they need to do an upgrade they don’t even have the usb charger. Not a speaker or clock to see the hour. The blow dryer wasn’t functioning and I called to get another one and they took almost an hour to bring another one. Unfortunately I’d never stay here again.

This is a place I always keep coming back to! Service is exceptional from front desk to doorman to pool staff! I can’t think of a bad thing about this place and look forward to each visit. I have when I come here.
