Overall okay could be a tad better
This hotel is pretty good and it’s in a good location downtown. Not too far from restaurants, malls and entertainment. There are two things that they need to work on which is cleaning and lighting. The bathtub in are room was very dirty and we didn’t use it at all and there is barely any lighting in the entire room. Other from those two things mentioned everything else was good.

I stay at a fair amount of kimptons and the epic just is not epic. It does not have the flair of other kimpton properties. It's beautiful externally and at first glance but a closer look leaves a lot to be desired. In my double room the lights on the nightstand were unplugged as was the radio this was the main light for the room. Moving the nightstand to find the plug revealed a power strip in a sea of dust bunnies. This set on a hole cut in the wall. While the bathroom was beautiful, with a great soaking tub it lacked high quality bath products such as soaps and shampooos. Lastly the customer service i requested a roll away bedsand was told it was not available as. Security issues. I offered to pay a deposit for it and customer service was unwilling to budge on this silly policy. Overall the experience was mid as my kids would say!
