The room descriptions are falsely advertised. When i booked the hotel, the suite listing said a 2 bedroom suite. The wording in the listing isn't the most accurate. In my opinion 2 bedrooms means 2 bedrooms that have doors. Not an open room with a bed and no door. There was another bedroom with a door. When I tried to talk to the front desk, the worker was pretty rude and so I spoke with a manager that agreed to put us in a conjoined room but at the same higher rate for the "2 room suite". And when the rooms were finnally available they were across the hall not conjoined.

The property was clean and safe. The beach staff was excellent. I liked the coffee/candy bar, as well as the bar on the ground floor. What I did not like was that my room was next to a staff utility room. I didn't realize until it was towards the end of my trip otherwise I would have asked to move.

We paid for the nicest suite in the hotel. When we checked in, our room was made up but filthy. The floor was sticky on our feet in every room. The coffee table was also sticky on almost every surface. There was food under the desk and sticky drink rings on a shelf from the previous occupants. The staff other than the front desk was kind and welcoming. The front desk was dismissive. We asked for our room to be cleaned again. When they told us it was clean after a two hour wait, it was still sticky, there was still food, and the drink rings remained. We took pictures and spoke with the manager. This time a very nice lady came and had to scrub the floor manually to clean it because whatever they were using wasn’t actually cleaning the floors. She was still cleaning when we went out to dinner. When we got back from dinner, the food was still under the desk and the rings were still there. We had to get the house cleaning manager to come completely clean the room. This is not what I would expect for a room that cost more than $1,000 per night. We were promised that our resort fees (about $60 a night) would be taken off the bill, but I had to argue for it when our stay was up. This used to be a great hotel. We wont stay there again.

The hotel was very busy. There was a long queue for the elevator, it took sometimes around 10 min to go up or down. We had a leak in the bathroom and the whole floor got wet.

To many incidents

2 hour wait for room and then they gave it to someone else after they gave us the keys already. Had to wait again for another room, but we did get one with a balcony per request. However they did not tell us that the floor was being renovated and I think we were the only ones on floor. Never saw another person on that floor except workers. Plus they could never get our room service correct for food. But it was a beautiful view from our balcony.
