WiFi a myth, the only reliable connection we had was with a hospitable colony of ants that generously shared their space with us. On the bright side, with no internet we had time to reflect on life, question our choices and draft a heartfelt apology to ourselves for booking this place.

I had to wait outside almost 2hrs because my room door was locked. I was a little annoyed because they said the battery in the door lock was dead and they had to call maintenance and I am waiting outside.

Great for a short stay when getting to a cruise.

Older motor hotel in pretty good shape. It’s in a good location for getting to a cruise or the Everglades National Park. Rooms are comfortable. Staff is not very friendly or accommodating.

We arrived later in the evening at which time we entered the office area and found the employee sitting at a table playing on their phones. After we got checked in we went to our room only to be even more disappointed. The door did not seal (you could literally see light coming in all the way around the door jam. Upon entering the room we were met with a very undesirable smell somewhere between trash and septic. The only part of the bed that was made was the top cover. The rest of the sheets had to be put on. Bathroom door was notched out so it could close without hitting the toilet. Shower had tiles with broken grout at which time i placed my hand on the wall to enter the shower and found that the wall is basically falling apart. Water pressure was horrible. Pool was colder than any pool i have ever been in. This place is supposedly rated at 4 stars out of 5. They should be lucky to get a one star rating. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

The clerks in the office were curt and unwelcoming. The rooms were outdated. The television did not work. On the plus side comfortable beds and plenty of towels.

I love everything about this hotel. Shopping, food, etc. are all within walking distance. It’s very convenient for tourists.
