Hotel

The staff were very nice and friendly! Overall the room was okay. The hotel is under renovation and it definitely needs it. The elevators were not working. The carpet on the stairs and all over the floor was severely stained. The room was clean (bed comfy and clean, bathroom clean). Hotel is undergoing a needed renovation. The hotel is near the beach which was a major plus and the sister hotel was near, which had a nice pool and restaurant and bar. Overall, it was a good stay.

Walking distance to all of South Beach!

Love Essex House! Nothing fancy but right in the middle of the action of South Beach, totally walkable everywhere! We’ll be back!

The property overall needs to be updated . The smell is unbearable . The cleanliness of the place is lacking . The towels are hard . The water leaks in the bathroom , the HVAC system is loud . I’m assuming they allowing people to smoke because there was a smoking aroma . There were water bugs in the tub . Dust so think in the room . Power went out.

The hotel is beautiful. I loved our small yet roomy enough room. The facilities were well kept and walking distance to everything! Many restaurant choices nearby as well as great nightlife.

We absolutely loved this property and the sister hotel the Clevelander! The staff was amazing. Valerie, Charlie, and Charlene were wonderful. Our room was clean and it was close to everything.

Ældre hotel med central beliggenhed

Hotellet bærer præg af, at være af ældre dato. Hotellet virker slidt. Vi kunne ikke åbne vinduet på værelset, aircondition anlægget måtte lukkes helt ned, da kontakten ikke kunne slukke for anlægget. Der er meget lydt og støj fra vej og omgivelser kan høres. På positiv siden er, at hotellet ligger central i forhold til Ocean Drive og Miami Beach. Hotellet egner sig, efter min mening bedst til yngre mennesker, som ønsker at benytte sig at de lokale klubber og barer.
