Family Fun!

Overall good experience. The propert is in a primetime location, close to virtually everything. Ellinore was great! She always had a smile and greeted us so warmly. Only issue was there was a fire alarm, and the alarm in our room did not go off... Other than that, it was great!

The room we were given was not what we had reserved and ontop of that did not have any hot water . When we asked to switch rooms to atleast get hot water we were told they are sold out . The next morning they offered to switch rooms but we would need to wait a few hours which meant us needing to be stuck cold after the pool with no place to shower or wait . The beach service was even worse .. we were not offered an umbrella even though it was extremely sunny because we had said initially we did not want one and were spoken to very rudely by a staff member . Honestly , there are nicer hotels within same price range that offer higher customer care .

Everything was amazing. Only one thing I would like to mention, in room 1202 there is mold on the ceiling in the small bedroom and closet. It's very visible and it's very dangerous for people with allergy and asthma. I had allergy reaction last time, thanks God it is not happening this time. Thank you for your support during our stay. Cockroaches in my room! Notified staff and nothing was done! No apologies no consideration! I booked the two bedroom ocean view suite for a girls trip and we spent quite a bit of money on this room so I was very annoyed to have to deal with cockroaches! Do better Doubletree! Unacceptable.

When choosing Double Tree Resort and Spa, we pick this hotel because we saw that it had a suana and steam room listed in amenities. However, the hotel stated that hotel has not had a suana and steam room since 2022? If we had known this we would not have booked a reservation as this was a big part of our vacation having a hotel with these amenities. It is 2024 and the hotel has not removed these amenities?. Very disappointed with double tree.

Hotel is in need of a major upgrade. Elevator and Hot tub problems throughout my stay. Comforter had holes and blood stains. I travel to Sunny Isles frequently and will not return here.

They need to do something about their slow @$$ elevators. Our stay uncluded free beach chairs but nit the umbrella between them? That's just too cheap considering the price.

Im disappointed there was no free breakfast, even an umbrella on the beach was at a charge. You can order food but the dining area is closed. For a Hilton Hotel it was overpriced.

This hotel could be much better w/a little effort.

Cell reception very difficult. Cafe service abysmal this morning before checkout delaying our departure. Room service had some good dishes, some absolutely awful (oatmeal, avocado toast among the worst I've ever had). Elevator service was terrible. Odd noises throughout the night from doors that wouldn't shut properly, loud and odd noises from the toilets. I wouldn't call the hotel dirty but it wasn't exactly clean. On the plus side, valet was great, beach was very nice and service there was adequate. I feel like with a little extra effort the hotel could be much better.
