I usually don’t write reviews, but wanted to this time because I do not agree with some of the negative feedback. The hotel is ideal for those coming into Miami for a cruise. That’s the reason to stay at this Comfort Inn. It’s not for south beach or Miami sight-seeing, but it is great for cruisers. There is a free shuttle from the Miami airport to the hotel (Yes, you might have to wait 30 minutes, but that is due to the airports heavy traffic, not Comfort Inn). There is also a free shuttle to the cruise terminal in the morning, just sign up with the front desk when you arrive. Our room had a comfortable king size bed and nice sofa for TV watching. And, if you are going on a cruise, you likely don’t have a car. Several convenient eating options. Many local pizza places deliver to this Comfort Inn (their info sheet will be slid under the room door). For snacks, soda, etc. there is a Circle K nearby, about a 3 minute walk. Finally, there is a great sports bar, Old Tom’s I think was the name, a 10 minute walk or so with good burgers, sandwiches, tacos and all the TV’s you could want. Highly recommend for cruisers staying the night before embarking: good hotel, comfortable, you can get food, and don’t need a car. Stay here the night before you head down to the port of Miami.

For the people who love looking at plane landing, this place is perfect. You can also walk 2 minutes to the Pilot house restaurant to have an amazing views and it is affordable with a terrace facing the airport.
