I gave 4 stars to the area only because of the traffic noise—during the day, you can hear cars passing by. At night, it's much quieter, as expected in Coral Gables. The staff, however, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet my needs. Their kindness truly stood out. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to try the restaurant, but I’m looking forward to doing so on my next visit. I’ll definitely stay here again
The property is quite old and looks antique. The rooms are big which is a plus point. The staff are friendly as well. It is close to the airport as well. Overall we enjoyed our time staying here with no issues.
The water in the batgroom sink was bad...coming out dark in muddy...the room had no microwave ,the rug was smelled like wet dog ...the air conditioner was blowing hot.the place was a nightmare...the owner was walking around property delagating loud and agressive.
First of all got there. We carried our luggage to the front desk.. Got our room key and the person at the front desk told us he would show us where our room is. Then he stepped outside with us and pointed across the street to a whole separate building. We proceeded to walk over there. and got in the front door. Got. upstairs. to our room. And the room key did not work. We then look. luckily so. a woman in the hallway spraying air freshener. This was like midnight or so.. We asked her to help. her to help us with the room key and she. tried it and it didn't work anyway. So. luckily she walked across the street and the guy from the front desk came over with a new key and let it. in. this whole process took about 30 minutes. The hallway smelled terrible. The room smelled awful.. I had a room. there reserved for four days later, which I canceled immediately.. I will probably never stay there again. I stayed there a couple times last season and I was in the main building and it was fine.. Oh, well, they just lost my business.
