A Quiet Slice of South Beach

This is a cute hotel at 5th and Ocean so a perfect location but also on the quieter end of the Ocean Blvd. The Staff was so friendly and helpful and our room was very comfortable with a big closet and a nice mini kitchen area. Beautiful rooftop view and lounge chairs and pool.

Great location. Very clean room. Towels always smelled freshly laundered. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is across from the beach. The pool area is on the roof overlooking Ocean Ave and with a gorgeous view of the beach. There is a large area on the rooftop with comfortable lounge chairs, under umbrellas if desired, to relax and read. Very calming. The hotel set up is a little quirky with a side entrance and meandering hallways, like a ship. Not a 5-star hotel but overall we had a great stay. So many restaurants within walking distance. We felt very safe walking at night on Ocean Ave and to South Point Park too. It was nice to have bikes and beach chairs available also. Beautiful area with wide walking/bike paths and green spaces! Many people out and about. Warm during the day but lovely breeze to keep you comfortable. Love Miami Beach!!

I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s clean, the staff are delightful, there’s free breakfast, and the facilities are very well maintained. It’s also in a great location and right on the beach!! The only qualm was that there wasn’t enough lighting in our room which is so not a big deal. Would def recommend

I rarely leave reviews but we had such an amazing vacation that I just had to leave one for this hotel. We got the 1 bedroom with ocean view balcony. The room was more like an apartment and looked like it had been recently renovated. We had tons of space, very clean, super comfy king size bed with huge t.v. in bedroom, and beautiful view of ocean on the other side of Ocean Dr. This hotel is in great location with tons of restaurants nearby, rentable bikes and beach right across the street, Walgreens right around the corner, and amazing nightlife. When we were there, they were still in the process of updating the hotel but that had no effect on our stay. The rooftop pool, hot tube, and 2 level pool deck was great. They even sold drinks up there but also had free ice cold water. The breakfast was small, mostly delicious sugary pastries, but it was enough to get us up and get our day going. I think they do a champagne toast every evening but we don't drink so I'm not sure on how that goes. The staff was super friendly. I really hope to stay again in the future.

I booked this property down the road called Miami international by lowkl because it was cheap. Didnt check the reviews, (BIG MISTAKE) We took one step in the room and sacrificed my money and got the hell out of there. Came here and man what a breath of fresh air! I mean that literally. The gentleman at the front desk was awesome, pool was closed so he gave us towels to go to the beach. Great experience. I’ve only been here for like an hour and it has made the day before our cruise SOOOO much better thanthe way it started.

All of the staff was excellent and very accommodating. The hotel is across the street from a park with both walking & biking trails, as well as across from the beach. It was great to have bikes available to borrow. Beach towels and bottled water were readily available. Repairs on a broken bureau drawer and the lock on the door to the balcony were fixed. I had expected a restaurant on site, but it won’t be open for a couple more weeks. The breakfast (included in price) was adequate. I recommend this hotel.

Decent property. No restaurant on sight. Very thin walls. The alarm went off one morning around 8 times. They are working on the property, so expect alot of drilling ect early in the morning.

Very, very slow and noisy elevator when operating, it needs replaced! The staff was apologetic for the long waits (several minutes, every time) and for the sounds you can hear, from any room, while operating. The hotel did put up a flatscreen to look at with changing pictures of the hotel while you wait. That helped a little. Noise was also an occasional issue due to loud guests and general traffic. But, considering this hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to everything, including the beach, has wonderful rooms, kitchen areas in the rooms, a beautiful, rooftop view, a nice pool, clean rooms and excellent staff, a little noise is worth it! (Owner- please, fix the hot tub so that it gets nice & warm, once & for all, or stop listing it as an amenity! Your excellent staff seems tired of apologizing to every disappointed guest for it being “on” & “swirling,” but cold!) I stayed a very enjoyable 10 days! I look forward to coming back when your new restaurant and bar are completed and running in the hotel!

This hotel is under construction so I had to enter at a side door. If you are looking for a restful vacation as a family with young children, this is a not the place for you. The hotel was very noisy into the hours of the morning. When I complained about it, they said they are aware but there's nothing they can do. I was looking for a beachfront hotel and was told by the hotel that this is a beachfront property but come to realize, i had to cross Ocean Drive to get to the beach. Also, there was also no restaurant on site so we had to go searching offsite for food with a sick child. On March 24, a sign was posted on the wall that there would be a fire drill between 9am-5pm, So with a sleepless night and the fire alarm going on intermittently from 9am, I decided we had to find another hotel and so I spoke with front desk to let them know we are checking out at 11 am. The ladies at the front desk said the alarm testing is required since they are trying to open their restaurant. They were really nice and asked if I wanted to change rooms, however there was no point because the halls were overall noisy, I'm tired and no restaurant was readily available onsite.

SERVICE is the standout feature that matters to be. Cleanliness and safety are simply "givens". Special recognition to Carlos and Virginia. The deliberate and sincere service is unmatched and makes sense when you consider this is a boutique gem. Not a big brand with no sense of place. I will surely return and congratulate the owners on a project smartly pursued.
