The hotel is located in a great neighborhood , tons of restaurants , shops and very close to public transportations . The hotel is charming , the courtyard and decor are lovely . I deducted points bc my room was the not cleanest , there was a visible stain on the bed frame that gave me the ick . Housekeeping also came late in the day ( after 5pm ), which was also the time that I would be getting ready to go out for the evening , so most days my room was not straightened up . I read in reviews that the area outside of the hotel was very noisy , I did not find this to be true ( my stay included a weekend ) , it was much quieter than me neighborhood in NYC . The hotel does provide a noise machine and ear plugs . They also have a filtered water station in the main lobby . I would stay here again , for the cost and convenience , but would request that the room is cleaned before I arrive .

The photos make this spot look a lot nicer than it actually is. The ambiance of the entrance and lobby are super cool and have a great vibe but my room was pretty sub par...worn bed/pillows/linens, poor water pressure, no coffee or drinkable water access in the room. But...the location is perfect. It's right in Roma Norte where there's so much to do and see.

Cute hotel but with terrible neighbors

No issues with the room or facilities. The staff was accommodating and promptly responded to questions or concerns including fixing issues with our TV. However, our room was right next to the bar, which played music loudly until 1-3 AM on some weekdays and weekends. The provided earplugs were helpful and allowed us to fall asleep, but did not enjoy dealing with the noise. Location is nice, a mostly quiet street. The bakery across the street was amazing and would definitely recommend. They said they were trying to get this issue addressed, so maybe once that happens it will be worth booking again.

Santa Casa is a beautiful historic property and we really felt welcome there by the staff. Our room faced the street so there was a bit of noise, but the hotel provided ear plugs and that helped. The bed was comfy and having a separate sitting room was nice. There are no elevators, which is probably true of all the historic hotels. Highly recommend Panaderia Rosetta for breakfast. We also booked two tours through the property, the Temples of the Sun and the Moon, and Lucha Libre. Both were fantastic! The tour guides were very knowledgeable and we learned so much about these cultural and historical Mexican icons.

Found the perfect stay in Roma Norte

This hotel is amazing! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore Roma Norte. I loved how I could take time to wander the area, return to the hotel for a quick rest, and escape the hustle and bustle of the streets. I also visited La Condesa a few times, which is just a short 15-minute walk away. The taco place beside this hotel does have events pretty late in the evening, Earplugs are stored in the night stand if needed.

This hotel had a great location, and was next to so many good bars and restaurants . There were a couple that played music late into the night, but we were provided with earplugs and sound machines which were helpful. Our room was also right next to a streetlight that came through the blinds so it was not the darkest come night time. Overall though great experience and location.

We had a great time at Santa Casa! The location was perfect, the staff was always very kind and helpful and it just felt homey. For two that struggle with sleep the bed+pillows were the most comfortable! We’ll book our next stay in CDMX at Santa Casa.

Santa Casa is more of an apartment rental than a hotel. Do note for those who are light sleepers may struggle as it is next to a karaoke bar that goes late in the night. You will be able to hear other hotel guests walking down the stairs. Do note there storage for before and after is limited space perfect for carry on but for check in luggage bags. Overall convenient location!
