The hotel is quite nice, with a good coffee shop in the lobby and an outdoor terrace bar for evening cocktails. We only had breakfast in the sky lounge once and it was terrible. There are plenty of far better options in the neighborhood. My main problem with the hotel was the fact that I submitted several requests for a rollaway bed for our double room, and received confirmation both through email and on a telephone call that we would be granted this extra bed as long as there was one available. When we arrived at the hotel and checked in we were told that the room was too small for a rollaway bed and it would be impossible to have one. Surely if this is the case, then the people from the hotel who emailed me and spoke to me on the phone prior to arrival could also have explained this fact to me? There is a serious flaw in their communication. We dealt with sharing beds in the small double room we were given, but it would have been nicer to have the additional bed I was promised would be an option. I also witnessed a family with a baby checking in and being told that there would be no room for a crib in their room, despite having that request confirmed prior to arrival. So, this is a repeated issue for this hotel. Not sure if they are intentionally misleading guests or it's just poorly run management with no communication. Otherwise, the stay was fine.
