We loved everything about our stay at Marquis. Staff, location, property, area, everything was perfect. The room was a little dated but that did not hinder our stay and we loved returning everyday from our adventures in CDMX to our room! We were able to walk everywhere, so centrally located and we had front row views to NYE and Sunday walking/running in the main street! Would highly recommend!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff was incredible and amazing with anything I need from housekeeping to desk and restaurants absolutely friendly. The only small concern was the valet parking crew in the middle of the day kind of crabby but most were so nice I cannot not give 5 stars bc of a couple people, they could been having a bad day who knows. Besides that I will definitely stay there again.

For $400 for a mid-tier suite, I feel sorta ripped off. The room itself was spacious, but everything was so old (except the phones), that it was a turn off. The marquis at a minimum is centrally located in Reforma and whether you're visiting the historic old neighborhoods /Zocalo or on the other end like Polanco, it's right on the main drag between the two. Upon check in, the receptionist told me the entire hotel was booked and couldn't get me into an early check-in, then she must have seen my status with Expedia and said "oh I have a room for you" and was able to check in 3 hours early, so at least that VIP perk did go through. Otherwise the entire hotel needs renovation and I'd bet was beautiful 25 years ago, but it's seen some days since.
