I have stayed at this hotel before and always received two key cards and and two water bottles as my reservation was for 2 adults but this time I did not. It was inconvenient. The dark went pitch black when my partner had to take the key card when leaving the room to get ice. Why? Key card needed to have the lights, tv etc.. on. I understand it's a safety feature for the elevator however to prevent this I could had gotten another key card.

Excellent stopover

This was a short stopover to catch an early morning flight out of Mexico City. This Holiday Inn had a great room, and it was quiet! I did not have time for a full breakfast but was seriously surprised by the variety of food put out by their staff for guests' breakfast.

Overall the hotel was good. Very nice room, comfortable bed and friendly staff. However, the ONLY reason I booked this hotel was because expedia listed it as having AIRPORT SHUTTLE service. We arrive to find out this is not the case. So we had to pay for taxis to/from the airport. I did phone the hotel before we flew to MX City and specially asked about airport shuttle and was told, YES, they have it. When we finally arrived at the hotel the reception said they do have a shuttle but it does not run everyday. And they didn't know when it would be available, but NOT when we were there. So if you want airport shuttle do NOT stay here. Otherwise everything else about this hotel was good, including the free breakfast in the morning. I also tried to contact the hotel with a question via expedia thru their messaging system on-line with NO response from the hotel. I sent messages 2 different times to no avail.
